SONOTRONIC GmbH invites you to FAKUMA 2024: Join us in celebrating 50 years of ultrasonic technology!

Under this year's anniversary motto "Joining Together," SONOTRONIC GmbH, a pioneer and reliable manufacturer of ultrasonic special machines for the plastics industry since 1974, invites you to FAKUMA 2024. The trade fair takes place from October 15 to 19, 2024, in Friedrichshafen. Visitors can look forward to an exciting presentation of innovative products that combine 50 years of expertise in ultrasonic technology at Hall 4, Stand A4-4104.

The focus will be on the iSONIC ECO TM ultrasonic tabletop machines, available in various versions and drive options. These machines come in both pneumatic and electric models at 20 kHz, 30 kHz, and 35 kHz, with optional accessories like a soundproof hood, sliding table, or film feed unit for maximum efficiency and ease of use. In addition, the highly flexible iSONIC WAVE XYZ module will be introduced, an efficient automation solution for vertical welding and joining tasks. This module is a cost-effective alternative to 6-axis robots and allows flexible adjustment of welding points.

In the iSONIC product family, alongside the iSONIC ECO TM, SONOTRONIC also integrates powerful ultrasonic components like the iSONIC PULSE and other modular assemblies from the iSONIC WAVE series. The portfolio offers customized solutions for all requirements in plastic processing, from welding to punching, riveting, embossing, and cutting, with high flexibility and precision.

Also on display this year will be the ultrasonic welding machine from Pfaff Industrial Systems. Since 2023, SONOTRONIC has been part of the DA Group. Together with Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff Industrial Systems, and KSL, the group demonstrates how the partners' technologies work together to achieve maximum production efficiency as a global player.

MultiMaterial-Welding Ultrasonic

Another highlight is the groundbreaking MultiMaterial-Welding® (MM-Welding®) application, presented in collaboration with the Bossard Group. This innovative joining technology uses SONOTRONIC's ultrasonic tools to locally liquefy thermoplastic joining elements within a fraction of a second, creating high-strength bonds in porous materials. The advantages include significantly stronger connections, easy handling without pre-positioning, clean processing without waste, and versatile applications in various industries.

With SONOTRONIC's future-proof ultrasonic technology from Karlsbad, there is the opportunity to shape plastic processing sustainably.
