Eight girls proved this at the nationwide Girls' Day. SONOTRONIC participated for the fifth time and gave the interested girls the opportunity to get a taste of technical professions. Especially under the aspect of the increasing shortage of skilled workers, the girls had the perfect opportunity to get to know professions that are otherwise dominated by men.
At SONOTRONIC, the model making, assembly and machining departments were presented. During the joint four-in-a-row game building, the skills learned in theory could be put into practice right away. The individual parts of the game had in fact been manufactured beforehand in the specialist departments visited. "It was interesting to see the different job profiles in a company," says one of the participants, "and it was really a lot of fun today," adds another girl.
