Half a century of SONOTRONIC GmbH! In June 2024, the company celebrated its 50th anniversary as a leading provider of ultrasonic special machines and a subsidiary of the DA Group. At the same time, the 60th anniversary of the sister company KSL was also in the spotlight. The festivities attracted around 350 visitors, including employees and their families, to the headquarters in Karlsbad-Ittersbach.
Among the guests were representatives from the DA Group, such as KSL from Bensheim, PFAFF from Kaiserslautern, and Dürkopp Adler from Bielefeld. Under the motto "Celebrating and Joining Together," the event started in the afternoon with a company tour showcasing the DA Group’s portfolio. A champagne reception with opening remarks by Managing Director Dr. Frank Meyer marked the beginning of the festive evening. While the band "Pink Panthers" entertained the guests with rock and pop cover songs, a live barbecue ensured everyone’s culinary satisfaction. The evening concluded with the broadcast of the opening match of the European Football Championship on an impressive LED screen in the festively decorated tent.
Since 1994, SONOTRONIC has been based in the Karlsbad-Ittersbach industrial area and has established itself as a key player in the Karlsruhe technology region. The company specializes in sustainable and future-proof ultrasonic technologies, developing and producing machines, assemblies, and components—all from one source and "Made in Germany."
In mid-2023, SONOTRONIC became part of the DA Group and has since operated internationally with even greater success. With around 150 employees, the machine manufacturer is planning further growth and is currently seeking additional personnel for various positions. “We look forward to welcoming committed new colleagues who want to shape the future of ultrasonic technology with us,” said Dr. Meyer.
Deputy Mayor Roland Rädle and the local mayor of Ittersbach, Heike Christmann, were also among the guests. They extended warm congratulations and emphasized the importance of SONOTRONIC as a significant employer in the region, with an excellent reputation and forward-looking training opportunities.
Prior to the anniversary celebration, customers had the opportunity to participate in the "SONIC’DAYS" to get to know the DA Group and experience the latest innovations from SONOTRONIC, PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH, KSL, and Dürkopp Adler.

It marks a significant milestone in the company's history and an important step towards a promising future.
