Optically clean punching for painted and unpainted plastics

As a pioneer in ultrasonic punching, SONOTRONIC is currently developing a new concept for processing bumpers, which will combine punching, cone stamping and joining. Parking sensor holders can optionally be glued into place or welded on by ultrasonic. The new concept is extended by an intelligent holding system, which allows the workpiece to be removed from within a position. Overall it is not only the cycle time and capital investment costs that are reduced but the size of the special machines, in particular, is reduced by up to 50 %.

This machine concept offers various standardized designs. Process steps such as punching, embossing, joining, gluing and ultrasonic welding can be combined in one system. The punching technology for the assembly of bumpers can be driven pneumatically, hydropneumatically and/or servo-electrically.
