On December 12, 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming Nicolas Zippelius, Member of Parliament, and Tobias Brehm from the Economic Development Agency Karlsbad to SONOTRONIC GmbH. Together with CEO Dr. Frank Meyer, Marc Hägele (CSO and Sales Director), and Heidi Ochs (Marketing), the guests gained fascinating insights into the company's custom machine building and innovative ultrasonic technology
In the assembly hall, Sven Dietz presented cutting-edge special machines primarily used in the automotive industry. Despite the current challenging economic environment, SONOTRONIC is enjoying strong demand and high capacity utilization. After being acquired by the SGGroup, the company has successfully asserted itself in the market during its first year. With a global presence and the benefit of synergies across the group, SONOTRONIC proves how innovation and economic stability can complement each other.
Another highlight of the visit was the tour of our application technology laboratories, where guests had the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the wide range of ultrasonic technology applications – from ultrasonic welding of plastics and textiles to the precise ultrasonic embossing of materials.
This year, SONOTRONIC celebrated its 50th anniversary. With its decades of experience, cutting-edge technology, and the backing of the group, the company has become a strong partner for future-oriented solutions in ultrasonic machine engineering.
