SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH has founded the subsidiary SONOTRONIC HK Ltd. together with its long-standing partner company Sanden Electronic Equipment Ltd. With this strategic step, SONOTRONIC has direct access to the Sanden production site in China.
This gives SONOTRONIC customers the opportunity to commission international projects with necessary production in China and subsequent export directly under the overall responsibility of SONOTRONIC. This solution offers customers a high degree of project security and a guarantee of completion, particularly with regard to international machine directives, especially CE, as well as engineering and the subsequent integration of machines in SONOTRONIC's international service network. In future, the expansion and sale of ultrasonic welding components and systems for the Chinese market in the area of higher-value applications is also planned via the subsidiary in China.
SONOTRONIC has already been supplying the local Chinese market for 16 years via Sanden Electronic Equipment Ltd. The Sanden headquarters with administration and sales offices as well as application engineering is located in Kowloon, an important Business District of Hong Kong.
About 100 km north of it, in Huizhou, near the city of Shenzhen, the production facility and development are located. On 8,500 square meters, ultrasonic special machines have been developed and produced for 15 years.
In addition, Sanden will continue to offer and manufacture machines based on ultrasonic technology for the internal Chinese market and its requirements. Chief Executive Officer of SONOTRONIC HK Ltd. is Jervis Hui and is on site in China. He is in close contact with the Business Development Manager Jianfeng Zhao, who handles orders for the Asian market at the headquarters of SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH in Karlsbad, Germany, and continues to build up the Far East business development.
