Flexible weld seams and clean cut edges with ultrasonic technology

Ultrasonic is used to ensure precise processing, e.g. welding or cutting, in the manufacture of air and liquid filters. Applications for filters include filter material in the engine compartment of vehicles, air filters for agricultural machinery, bellows filters for air and gasoline filtration in the automotive sector, vacuum cleaner bags for industrial filtration, and also respiratory protection filters for masks.

Realized applications are for example

• Continuous welding of two layers of filter medium to form a vacuum cleaner bag
• Welding of plastic valves in respirator masks
• Roll seam welding of star filters
• One-sided straight trimming and edge sealing or welding of membrane filters
• Closing of star filter end gussets by means of ultrasonic
• Ultrasonic welding machines for the production of filter bags, filter pouches and filter hoses
